Soumaya is a regular concert performer and has wide experience in the classical and cabaret repertoire.
She has performed in such halls as the Purcell Room - South Bank, Leighton House, French Institute, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, the Edinburgh Festival as part of its 50th Anniversary Celebration, as well as other venues throughout the UK.
In addition, Soumaya’s international engagements have taken her to the United States, United Arab Emirates, and Cyprus as part of the International Classical Festival in Larnaca, Greece and France.
In Lebanon, Soumaya has given concerts at Balamand University to celebrate its 10th anniversary, a concert “Tribute to Beirut” as the cultural capital of the Arab world, as well as concerts for the Francophonie Summit hosted by the Lebanese Government and for the Italian Cultural Institute in Lebanon.
Recently, Soumaya has collaborated with Tim Howard in a series of Cabaret evenings presenting programmes in more intimate surroundings.
More recently in London, Soumaya sang for the Gala Dinner for the FQMS, and additionally gave a concert in aid of One to One Children’s Fund and Orbis.
Soumaya has broadcast for the BBC World Service, Middle East Broadcasting Television, Emirates Classic FM, Monte Carlo Radio, Orbit Cable TV and the Art Channel.
